Venture Creation
Within the business area Venture Creation, Serendipity works to identify and develop potential innovations originating from research-intensive environments. Each year the company initiates a number of collaborations with leading researchers and prominent innovators from various fields. For each project, a team of scientists and entrepreneurs with complementary skills is formed, who together build a business with the aim to drive their innovations to market.
Venture Management
Serendipity exercises active ownership in a portfolio of innovative growth businesses through its Venture Management business area. Serendipity’s management is involved in the operation and strategic development of its respective holdings. In the last five years we have generated an average annual return of 32 percent. Our ambition is to over time continue to generate an annual average ROE in excess of 20 percent.
Innovative Services
The business area Innovative Services offers technical and management expertise to external companies and organizations. Here we take the knowledge we have gained working with our portfolio companies and use it to help external firms improve their own processes. We supply a broad spectrum of services including the management and enaction of complex projects and the implementation of technical services.

Serendipity Innovations is a management company with specialist expertise in innovation processes and early corporate development.
Our operations include Venture Creation, Venture Management and Innovative Services, which are based upon the same knowledge base of company building, innovation know-how, and technical competency.
Since its inception in 2004, Serendipity has founded and managed more than 15 technology companies within clean tech, life sciences, materials engineering, IT and medical technology, as well as managed over 30 advanced projects for external clients and partners.
Our goal is to strengthen our position as a leading generator of innovations and to continue to be a model organization for the conversion of technical knowledge into marketable solutions for industry leaders.
